Southwest Dubois County School Corporation Calendar 2027-2028

Southwest Dubois County School Corporation serves the Huntingburg and Holland communities through four schools. Holland and Huntingburg elementary schools carry the early grades, Southridge Middle gathers the district for grades six through eight, and Southridge High receives the common grade 9–12 cohort. Holland and Huntingburg retain distinct elementary identities before the cohort enters the Southridge campuses.

A Spanish-English Dual Language Immersion pathway gives the K–5 years another structure. The district uses a 50/50 model, dividing instruction between English and Spanish while keeping students responsible for the same academic standards. Participation is a family choice and creates a sustained bilingual sequence across the elementary years before students enter the common middle school.

Southridge High combines Early College and career preparation on the shared final campus. Through its Ivy Tech partnership, students can complete the 30-credit Indiana College Core alongside high-school requirements. Southridge High also connects students to aviation, regional career programs, and employer-linked initiatives such as 4T Academy and CRAFTED by OFS, allowing part of the upper-grade schedule to move into technical or workplace settings.
