Westfield Washington Schools
The 2026–27 school year is an active transition year in Westfield-Washington Schools. The elementary reorganization has already expanded the district from six K–4 schools to eight K–5 schools. Sixth grade is spending one year in an interim arrangement before the future two-middle-school system opens.
Westfield Middle School operates across two physical locations during 2026–27. Sixth graders attend a dedicated campus housed in a separate wing at Cool Creek Elementary, using the former intermediate-school building. Seventh and eighth graders attend the main Westfield Middle School campus. The two locations share one middle-school organization, yet they have different addresses, arrival routines, and daily logistics.
The next phase is scheduled for 2027–28, when Westfield plans to operate two complete grades 6–8 middle schools, both feeding Westfield High School. Until then, 2026–27 families must use the two-site arrangement: eight K–5 elementary schools, sixth grade at Cool Creek, and grades seven and eight at the main Westfield Middle School campus. Applying the future map one year early would send a student to the wrong building.
