River Forest Community School Corporation Calendar 2026-2027

River Forest Community School Corporation uses four schools in a progressively consolidated route. Henry S. Evans and John I. Meister elementary schools serve the early grades, River Forest Middle receives grades six through eight, and River Forest High covers grades nine through twelve. The middle and high schools share the Indiana Street site, giving the upper grades one connected campus area while retaining separate school organizations.

Henry S. Evans and John I. Meister remain separate local entry points before the district meets in sixth grade. Preschool is offered within the lower-grade network, and common transportation, activities, and student services connect families to the later River Forest campuses. The shared middle/high location can simplify access to secondary facilities while schedules and student expectations remain age-specific.

River Forest High offers the 30-credit Indiana College Core, dual-credit study, and career pathways that let students build college or technical progress before graduation. Arts, athletics, and activities also operate through the common secondary site. A student’s early route depends on Evans or Meister; the upper-grade plan is shaped mainly by course and pathway selection.
