Jennings County School Corporation
Jennings County School Corporation keeps students in six K–6 elementary communities before the district meets at Jennings County Middle School for grades seven and eight and Jennings County High School, which serves grades nine through twelve. The late middle-school transition lets children remain in local elementary settings through sixth grade, then join one districtwide secondary sequence.
Panther Online Academy provides a tuition-free K–8 virtual public school within JCSC. It began in 2025–26 and uses certified teachers with virtual-instruction experience. Online enrollment becomes the student’s primary school setting through eighth grade.
Grade nine requires another planned transition. Panther Online students move into Jennings County High School or another approved high-school placement, while students on the physical route have already joined the common middle school in seventh grade.
