Huntington County Community Schools
Huntington County Community School Corporation serves a large county through six elementary schools, two middle schools, and one comprehensive high school. Elementary students later enter Crestview or Riverview Middle School for grades six through eight. Both middle-school communities feed Huntington North High School, so the middle boundary shapes three years of daily travel while the high-school destination is shared.
Huntington North Learning Center is a county CTE hub connected to the high-school program. Its current directory includes automotive services, precision machining, welding, construction trades, health sciences, criminal justice, and fire and rescue. Many courses carry dual credit or industry credentials.
The same facility houses offices or services from Ivy Tech, Huntington University, Impact Institute, and WorkOne Northeast. Students can use multi-period technical programs and employer-linked training while continuing the Huntington North graduation plan.
