Greensburg Community Schools Calendar 2028-2029

Greensburg Community Schools gathers its citywide route through one elementary school, one junior high, and one high school, with Pirate Preschool providing a free state-certified entry for eligible four-year-olds. The ordinary sequence moves from Greensburg Elementary to Greensburg Junior High and then to Greensburg Community High School. One main campus serves each grade band, so the corporation has no competing neighborhood feeder branches.

Greensburg Jr./Sr. Virtual School is a tuition-free public option for Indiana students in grades six through twelve. It uses synchronous and asynchronous instruction during the traditional school day, supplies a Chromebook, allows hybrid arrangements, and keeps C4 career-center access available when families provide the required transportation. Full-time virtual graduates receive a diploma from the virtual school and may participate in the Greensburg commencement ceremony.

Greensburg High is a certified Early College school. The Class of 2025 earned more than 3,000 college credits; forty-two students completed the Indiana College Core, and the school reported forty-five distinct dual-credit courses and sixty-five work-based-learning participants. AP, dual enrollment, industry credentials, welding, health science, culinary work, agriculture, and other pathways give the compact three-school system a broad upper-grade program.
