Fayette County School Corporation
Fayette County School Corporation’s physical route begins in five elementary schools, then converges at Connersville Middle School and Connersville High School. Little Spartans Preschool serves the opening years, while Whitewater Career Center adds regional technical programs during high school.
A major new option begins in 2026–27. Spartan Flex Academy serves grades seven through twelve through a hybrid plan built around online coursework and about nine hours of in-person Student Success programming each week. Students remain FCSC students, work toward a Connersville High diploma, and may retain access to athletics, clubs, dual credit, work-based learning, Early College, and Whitewater Career Center.
The academy is designed primarily for students returning from at least one semester in virtual, homeschool, or alternative education, though individual exceptions can be considered. Transportation is available when needed, and the physical feeder and Spartan Flex can lead to the same diploma through very different weekly schedules.
