East Porter County School Corporation
East Porter County School Corporation operates three parallel community systems. Kouts Elementary feeds Kouts Middle/High, Morgan Township Elementary feeds Morgan Township Middle/High, and Washington Township Elementary feeds Washington Township Middle/High. Each elementary campus covers the opening K–5 years before its community enters a combined grades 6–12 organization.
Secondary identity remains local through graduation. Athletics, clubs, schedules, and community traditions stay centered on Kouts, Morgan Township, or Washington Township Middle/High. Sixth grade begins a seven-year relationship with the same community school. Districtwide administration and specialized services link the three routes, and each township campus carries its own graduating cohort.
High-school students can add vocational courses through Porter County Career and Technical Education, along with Advanced Placement and dual-credit work coordinated through the corporation. Regional training may change part of a student’s daily location; the township middle/high remains the home school for scheduling, activities, and graduation.
