Batesville Community School Corporation Calendar 2026-2027

Batesville Community School Corporation moves students through four shared schools. Batesville Primary serves preschool through grade two, Batesville Intermediate carries grades three through five, Batesville Middle receives grades six through eight, and Batesville High completes grades nine through twelve. Each move changes both the campus and the organization of the school day.

Mandarin immersion crosses those stages. The program uses extensive Mandarin instruction in the opening grades, then adjusts its language and literacy model as students grow older. Current district reporting places about twelve percent of K–8 enrollment in Dual Language Immersion, and the long-term sequence is designed to support advanced Mandarin and college-credit work at Batesville High.

Bulldog Ready adds a community-connected career framework to the same K–12 ladder. Middle-school students study local nonprofit and civic work, ninth graders use seminars and career exploration, and upper-grade students select from eight pathways that can include postsecondary credit, credentials, mentorship, and work-based learning. The high school organizes college, employment, and enlistment preparation within one comprehensive campus.
