Twin Lakes School Corporation
Twin Lakes School Corporation enters 2026–27 with four districtwide schools under the current names Twin Lakes Primary, Twin Lakes Intermediate, Twin Lakes Middle, and Twin Lakes High. Primary and Intermediate divide the kindergarten-through-fifth-grade years; grades six through eight use Twin Lakes Middle, and the full district meets at Twin Lakes High in ninth grade. After the elementary years, Monticello students follow one shared secondary sequence.
Academic differentiation begins well before high school. Twin Lakes uses recurring identification for High Ability services in language arts and mathematics. K–5 screening combines assessment data, teacher nominations, and committee review; middle-school placement draws on grades, testing, and recommendations for accelerated reading, language arts, mathematics, and algebra.
At Twin Lakes High, students take a larger role in selecting honors and Advanced Placement courses. The common campus also supports FFA, athletics, arts, and college- or career-oriented planning for the full district cohort.
Twin Lakes Online serves grades seven through twelve through an application and intake process for students whose circumstances call for a flexible primary setting. Full-time online students follow separate participation rules for athletics, clubs, dances, and other building-based activities. Students who complete a diploma track receive a Twin Lakes High School diploma and join the district commencement.
