Rush County Schools
Rush County Schools begins 2026–27 with Milroy Elementary and Rushville Elementary as its two operating elementary schools. Both communities continue to Benjamin Rush Middle School and then Rushville Consolidated High School. Little Lions Preschool provides an earlier entry, and the physical route becomes districtwide after the elementary years.
Rushville Jr./Sr. Virtual School launches in 2026–27 for grades seven through twelve. Indiana Online Academy provides the primary curriculum and instruction through structured online courses, while Rush County Schools supplies local enrollment, student services, and support. Families choose a different delivery format inside the same corporation and grade span.
Rushville Consolidated High expands the shared campus through agriculture, criminal justice, health, business, and other career pathways. Students can connect to regional technical programs, dual credit, work-based learning, and industry-oriented courses while completing the RCHS graduation plan. The county’s upper-grade schedule can extend into virtual, technical, and workplace settings.
