Clay Community Schools
Clay Community Schools contains two different secondary patterns across Clay County. The Clay City community keeps students at Clay City Elementary through sixth grade and then moves them into Clay City Junior/Senior High School for grades seven through twelve. The Brazil-area elementary schools feed North Clay Middle School and then Northview High School, creating a separate middle-to-high-school sequence.
Both routes remain under one corporation and create different campus histories. Clay City students enter a combined 7–12 organization in seventh grade. Northview-bound students use separately named middle and high schools. County geography and grade configuration both shape transportation and daily travel.
Cumberland Academy serves referred students in grades nine through twelve. It provides individualized instruction, behavior support, counseling, and credit recovery for students at risk of losing credits. The academy functions as a specialized placement linked to the Clay City and Northview high-school communities.
